Terms of Service

1. The Service

These Terms of Service describe the operational and commercial terms for Volterra IRIS (“IRIS” or the “Service”), a business-oriented digital-infrastructure event intelligence, research, and collaboration service operated by Volterra Advisors LLC. If you use IRIS for an organization, you must be authorized to act for that organization and ensure its users follow these terms.

Depending on account type, IRIS may provide published event, organizer, resource, and knowledge information; personal saves, attendance tracking, and private notes; and seat-based team workspaces with invitations and shared planning. IRIS is delivered digitally. We do not sell or ship physical goods.

2. Accounts and acceptable use

• You must provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in credentials, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized use.
• Workspace owners and administrators control invitations, membership, and authorized seat counts for their organization.
• You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for authorized use by your organization’s users.
• Do not use IRIS unlawfully, deceptively, to infringe another person’s rights, or to distribute malicious code.
• Do not bypass access controls, probe for vulnerabilities without written authorization, interfere with the Service, or access another user’s or organization’s data.
• Do not scrape, resell, sublicense, or provide unauthorized shared access to IRIS unless Volterra has agreed in writing.

3. Plans, billing, and renewal

Individual accounts are free. Paid team workspaces cost $9 USD per licensed user per month or $99 USD per licensed user per year, as selected and confirmed before purchase. Applicable taxes may be added where required. IRIS does not offer trials, coupons, promotional discounts, or usage-based pricing under these plans.

Paid teams create an IRIS account, select a monthly or annual plan and seat count in IRIS, and complete Stripe-hosted Checkout. After Stripe verifies payment, IRIS automatically provisions the workspace.

Paid subscriptions renew automatically on the selected monthly or annual cadence until canceled. You authorize Stripe to charge the payment method associated with the subscription at initial purchase, renewal, and for seat increases you confirm in IRIS.

A seat increase confirmed in IRIS takes effect immediately after Stripe verifies payment, and its charge is shown before confirmation. A seat decrease takes effect at the next renewal and does not create a mid-period credit. Workspace owners and administrators manage seats in IRIS. You are responsible for keeping billing and workspace-owner contact information current.

4. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel a paid subscription at any time. Start cancellation in IRIS billing settings and complete it in Stripe’s hosted billing portal. Cancellation stops the next renewal and takes effect at the end of the then-current paid billing period; service remains available through that date. We do not prorate the remaining period.

Subscription and seat fees are nonrefundable except for duplicate or erroneous charges or where applicable law requires a refund. Our Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how to request review. There are no shipping, physical-return, or restocking terms because IRIS is a digital service.

5. Information and professional-use disclaimer

Event details, third-party resources, market information, calculators, and technical material may change or contain errors. You are responsible for independently verifying dates, specifications, requirements, assumptions, and decisions with authoritative sources and qualified professionals. A listing does not constitute endorsement, and Volterra is not responsible for third-party sites, events, products, or services.

6. Payment-data handling

Stripe processes payment information for paid IRIS subscriptions. Payment details are entered through Stripe-hosted Checkout, not this public site. IRIS does not receive or store full payment-card numbers or card security codes. Do not send payment details by email. See our Privacy Policy for more information.
